Our Prevent-A-Mouse TM program is an stretegic process that can control your mouse problem. Since the reproductive power of this invasive species (House Mouse) is exceptional, effective control requires interrupting the reproductive cycle. Our process includes a combination of sealing, rodenticide treatment and periodic maintenance followup.

1) Initial Interior Setup:

Small Interior Bait Stations
Sealing exterior pipe penetrations
Our initial treatment includes attic application and interior bait stations, as our technician deems appropriate. The purpose is to control the population inside your home. sealing around pipe penetrations is included. We do provide entire house sealing or other risk areas, for an additional fee.
2) Large Exterior Bait Stations:
These are an optional add-on to your program. Many homes have habitat around the home that will support an ongoing rodent problem. These large stations can control rodents around your home and significantly reduce infiltration into the home. For many homes, these are a very effective component of the program. Adding these to your home allows flexibility when scheduling return trips. These large stations may be placed in garages and sheds that are open intermittently to protect the product from pets because they are securred using the integrated weight to prevent them from being carried off.
3) Return Trips:
Return Trips are optional, but are a very economical option to maintain the program. We have two options:
TOTAL Replenishment: Replenishment of entire home interior and exterior. You need to be home to provide access.
Exterior Only Replenishment. A convenient and effective strategy. No need to be home. We refill all of the LARGE bait stations that were set up outside the home/garage where we have unimpeded access.
A good strategy is to followup your initial treatment within 4 weeks. This will replenish any rodenticide that was consumed when the population was at its greatest level. It will also give our technician some data to help judge frequency of future visits. The next treatment may be filling any exterior stations that you purchased from us, so that it can be managed from the outside. Frequency of replenishments depend on the type of mice pressure your home receives. Replenishments may vary from 4-10 weeks, depending on activity, habitat, and resident population. The strategy is to ensure a constant supply of rodenticide, to control population booms. If it is discovered that rodenticide is completely gone during a replenishment, we may advise more frequent attention.
